Creative Operations
2026
SUMMARY:
I was tasked with creating visual assets for the BA (Hons) Design Management course at UAL as part of the undergraduate showcase. These assets included a logo for use across digital promotional materials, as well as custom-designed placards to accompany and present students’ work. The logo design was heavily inspired by the university’s iconic branding, incorporating its simplicity and recognisable identity. In addition, the design references the Double Diamond framework, the cornerstone of design processes and a core principle demonstrated throughout the exhibition and course itself.
As the founder of papers, I led the strategic development and creative operations of a minimalist design studio engineered for the demands of the modern, international market. Operating internationally, the studio was built to bridge the gap between high-end aesthetic storytelling and high-performance technical execution. My role involved designing not just the brand’s visual identity, but the entire operational infrastructure required to deliver remarkable digital experiences at scale
The visual language of Papers is defined by "Adaptive Minimalism," a philosophy that prioritises clarity and functional elegance. Every brand touchpoint was designed to feel quiet yet commanding, using generous white space and structured typography to evoke a sense of architectural focus. This case study represents the culmination of that vision: a studio that functions as a silent partner to its clients, removing digital noise to prioritise clarity, sophistication, and a seamless user experience. Throughout the process, the goal remained constant—to prove that a studio can be elegantly simple, remarkably fast, and deeply reliable.
